Scott Daniel Ellison’s paintings have been exhibited widely both in the US and Europe, including solo shows at Clamp Art gallery in New York, Pulse Miami, WSJ Gallery in London, Galerie DYS in Brussels, and Matteawan Gallery in Beacon.
Ellison has been awarded fellowships in painting by the New York Foundation for the Arts and the Pollack-Krasner Foundation. In 2014 his first monograph, Iowa, Ohio, was published by Schilt Books and in 2016 a second book, Witch Hazel, was published by Clamp Art in 2016.
Ellison’s paintings have been featured in Celine’s “Cosmic Cruiser” fashion collection, and profiles of his work have appeared in numerous publications, including Dazed and Confused magazine, Two Coats of Paint blog, and the art journal Esopus. He lives and works in Beacon, NY.
